S3DA Design was engaged to provide complete Structural and MEP engineering design, stamping, and certification for a new Burger King restaurant in Oxford, MS. The new restaurant will replace an existing Burger King on the same site, which is scheduled for demolition.

Our Structural team delivered full design calculations and construction drawings, including:

  • Wind, seismic, and roof load analyses
  • Foundation, slab-on-grade, shear wall, and framing system design
  • Ancillary steel design for canopies, HSS posts, and sign supports
  • Structural plans, sections, and details for efficient and code-compliant construction

The MEP scope encompassed a full range of building systems:

  • Electrical: Complete power distribution system, lighting design, façade and exit lighting, HVAC power connections, and low-voltage layout.
  • Mechanical: HVAC system design including load calculations, air distribution, and ventilation systems.
  • Plumbing: Domestic water, sanitary, venting, and condensate systems, with equipment selection and detailed isometrics.

This project highlights S3DA Design’s continued partnership with national brands and our commitment to delivering integrated, cost-effective engineering solutions for the retail and restaurant sector.
