S3DA Design was selected to provide comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering design for a new 6-story multi-family residential development in San Diego, California. 

The MEP design covers complete building systems, including: 

  • Mechanical: Air-conditioning, ventilation, exhaust, and make-up air systems. 
  • Electrical: Power distribution, lighting systems, emergency power, and panel schedules, with energy compliance (Title-24). 
  • Plumbing: Water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems, including riser diagrams and roof drain designs. 
  • Fire Protection: Full fire sprinkler system design, pump sizing, and hydraulic calculations in accordance with NFPA 13. 

The S3DA team coordinated closely with architects and ownership to provide a fully integrated BIM/IFC model, detailed construction documentation, and code-compliant engineering solutions aligned with project goals and local requirements.
