S3DA Design was engaged to provide full Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design services for a new single-family residence and a gut renovation of a guest house in Asbury Park, New Jersey

Our scope of work covered the complete design and coordination of building systems to ensure comfort, safety, and efficiency, including:

  • Electrical Design: New service connection from utility transformer to the main distribution board, complete power distribution system, exit signs, interior and façade lighting with controls, outlets, power for HVAC and miscellaneous equipment, low-voltage rough-ins, and utility coordination with load letter preparation.
  • HVAC Design: New HVAC system with load calculations, air distribution, air balance, restroom exhaust fans, domestic kitchen exhaust, mechanical schedules, and air distribution plans.
  • Plumbing Design: New domestic water, sanitary, venting, and water heating systems, condensate collection, heater selection and schedules, isometric drawings, plumbing equipment details, natural gas calculations for a future generator, and utility coordination. The sanitary sewer and water services were designed up to 5 feet outside each building.

Through this project, S3DA Design delivered a comprehensive MEP solution tailored to meet the client’s needs while ensuring compliance with local utility requirements and building codes.
